What is the best screen for a porch overlooking the woods?
We really want a screen porch, but wish to minimize obscuring our view as much as possible. Can anyone recommend the best screening material that will be very durable (just got a future big dog), that will keep out mosquitoes, and that will provide the best visibility from the inside to the outdoors?
Is metal better than vinyl for the view or other considerations?
We weren't considering windows because we wanted a true screened porch, rather than a sun room/enclosed porch.
Answer: Use a metal screening material for best see-through ability also use black or dark colored for added see through, the metal is also quite durable. make sure you build it with big runs that will minimize the blocking by blocking or whatever you use to hold the screening material, basically you should build it in big 3'x6' panels that contain the screen.
